Stamps Setup

This is where you can set-up stamps to be included on your chamber's certificate of origin and trade documents.These stamps are used in the standard document Layouts and are positioned within one or more document layouts. Each piece of information that you wish to apply to a document set needs to be created as a stamp.

The examples of stamps are:-

- Chamber Seal

- Date

- Original, Duplicate, Triplicate

- Certificate Number


The two available stamp types are:-

- Image Stamps - such as signatures and the chamber seal.

- Text Stamps - such as signatory names, dates and the Certificate Number.


Add a Stamp

Step 1. Go to Chamber Management menu and select Stamps.

Step 2. Add a stamp by clicking the Add button.

Step 3. Enter a description for the Stamp in the Stamp Description field.

Step 4. Select if you are adding an image stamp or text stamp.


Add an Image Stamp

Before adding an image stamp you should ensure you have created it appropriately. The ideal format is PNG8 format, index transparency, and appropriate size and quality. See Uploading Signatures, Stamps and Logos.

Step 1. Select the image button.

Step 2. Browse to find the stored Image File.

Step 3. Set the Opacity. This is a setting which sets the transparency of the image to show other detail behind the stamp.

Step 4. Set the Scale (percentage). This will resize the image to suit the document(s) it will be copied onto.

Step 5. Click Can Rotate to apply a minor random rotation to the image when stamping occurs (if required).

Step 6. Click Save. A Success message is displayed and the stamp is added to the available stamps.


Add a Text Stamp

Step 1. Select the Text button.

Step 2. Select Fixed Text or Database Field. A Fixed Text stamp is for text information that can be defined, such as a signatory’s position or name. A Database field stamp is for information that is sourced from the database and which is included in fields. The available fields are Authorized Body Ref, Date and Certificate Number.

Step 1. Enter the preferred Stamp Text.

Step 2. Select the font, font size, font style and font colour.

Step 3. Click on Save. A success message is displayed and the stamp is available in the list of stamps.

Add a Database Field Stamp

Step 1. Select the Database field name from the dropdown list.

Step 2. Select the font, font size and font colour.

Edit a Stamp

Step 1. Click the stamp you wish to edit. The stamp properties will be displayed on the right hand side.

Step 2. Make the required changes to the stamp.

Step 3. Click Save.

Remove a Stamp

Step 1. Click the Stamp you wish to remove.

Step 2. Click Remove.

Step 3. Select OK to the prompt to confirm you do wish to remove the stamp. A confirmation message is displayed and the stamp is removed from the list of stamps.
