Submitting Webdocs Shipments

Submit eCert WebDocs Shipments to Chambers for Stamping and Approval
Once you have created each of the documents that you require for your shipment and all the shipment details are complete, you can submit the shipment to the chamber.
Step 1.
Click the button marked ‘Submit’ either at the top or bottom of the page from within any of the documents created for your shipment.
Step 2.
The Submit eCert WebDocs window opens up.
NOTE
: If the selected Chamber allows the exporter/freight forwarder to request that the submission be manually processed, the 'Request Manual Approval of Documents (Wet Stamps) checkbox will appear.
To request that the documents be processed and approved manually (wet stamps), please tick the 'Request Manual Approval of Documents (Wet Stamps) checkbox.
Step 3.
If you do not wish to submit a particular document then deselect the checkbox for that document. The Certificate of Origin cannot be deselected.
Step 4.
If required you may also submit other documents that you require the chamber to stamp or review as part of the shipment e.g. Certificate of Free Sale. You can attach up to 3 additional documents which must all be in the Adobe PDF document format by clicking on the browse button and selecting the document you wish to attach.
Step 5.
You can enter any comments you wish to make to the chamber in the notes to Chamber text box.
Step 6.
When you are ready to submit the shipment click on the submit button in either the top or bottom right corner.
Step 7.
Select OK to confirm whether you intend to submit the documents to the chamber.
Step 8.
Once the shipment has been submitted, you will be taken to the Pending Shipments Screen and your shipment will appear in the grid with a status of Submitted.
Step 9.
You will see the system has generated a unique certificate number for the shipment after submission. The Certificate number will be in ECXXXXXXXXX format (EC as prefix followed by 9 number digits). For instance, EC123456789.
