eCertify allows Freight Forwarders and Exporters to manage their relationship with a Chamber electronically.
If you are a Freight Forwarder, registering your Freight Forwarder and Exporter relationship with a Chamber will allow you to submit on behalf of an Exporter.
There are two methods of initiating the Freight Forwarder and Exporter relationship in eCertify:
Register Freight Forwarder and Exporter Relationship
To register a Freight Forwarder and Exporter relationship, you must be logged on into eCertify as an Authorised Officer of the Chamber that you wish to submit documentation to.
Step 1.
Click the Exporters >> Register Exporter button.
Step 2.
Select the Chamber that you wish to register the Freight Forwarder and Exporter relationship with by selecting it from the Chamber drop down box.
Step 3.
Select to either create a new exporter or select from an existing exporters list.
Step 3a. Register a Freight Forwarder and Exporter relationship for a new Exporter
Step (i).
Select to create a new Freight Forwarder and Exporter relationship.
Step (ii).
Enter the details of the Exporter under the Exporter Details section.
Step (iii).
Enter the details of the Authorised Officer for the Exporter under the Exporter Authorized Officer Details.
Step (iv).
Upload the Legal Documents associated with the Freight Forwarder and Exporter relationship, if any.
NOTE: At this stage, you may save the registration by clicking the Save button located at the top and bottom of the page and submit it at a later stage.By doing this, the system will not submit the registration to the Chamber. The Freight Forwarder and Exporter relationship will display on the Exporters >> Pending Exporters section with status of 'Saved'.
Step 3b. Register a Freight Forwarder and Exporter relationship for an existing Exporter
Step (i).
Select to create a new Freight Forwarder and Exporter relationship with an existing Exporter.
NOTE: The Exporters drop down box only displays a list of exporters created by the Freight Forwarder.
Step 4.
Click the 'Submit Registration Request' located at the top and bottom of the page if you wish to submit the registration of the Freight Forwarder and Exporter relationship to the Chamber selected in Step 2.
NOTE: At this point, a notification will display indicating that the registration has been submitted to the Chamber. A new registration request email is then sent to:
- the Chamber to advise that there is a pending Freight Forwarder and Exporter relationship registration awaiting their approval/rejection.
- the Exporter to advise that a Freight Forwarder has registered with a Chamber to act on their behalf
- the Freight Forwarder to notify them that a Freight Forwarder and Exporter relationship has been submitted to the Chamber
