Payments in Progress

In the event of the payment process crashing or getting interrupted, the selected items stay locked in pending payment status in the account of the signatory processing it.

When you log back into eCertify, a message will be displayed at the top of the page to show that you currently have payments in progress which have not been completed.

To view items currently under payment in progress, click the ‘Cart’ icon.

Any subsequent submissions that have been approved will be shown but not able to be selected until the payments in progress are completed.


NOTE: NOTE: The Merchant Fee is a handling fee that will be passed on to the Exporter or Freight Forwarder to offset the charge imposed by PayPal for using their service.The Merchant Fee is only applicable if the configuration is set accordingly.


Remove items pending payment

If you no longer wish to pay for submissions that are still pending payment you can remove individual items from the cart by clicking the link marked ‘Remove’. Alternatively, if you wish to discard the payment in progress altogether, you can click ‘Remove All’.

Submissions removed will then be available in the Central Cart, ready to be selected again for payment. The number of items in the Cart indicator will be refreshed to include the removed shipments.

Identify submissions currently in Payment in Progress Status

The submissions that are currently in the payment in progress status are marked with a PP icon in the Status column.

Letting your mouse hover over the PP icon will display the signatory who is currently paying for those submissions.

Complete a Payment in Progress

To complete the payment process, click ‘Pay Now’ button to return to PayPal.
